Attorney Background

Ms. Jensen practices criminal defense law in the Greater Los Angeles area and many counties in Southern California. She has handled thousands of cases in counties throughout California including a number of jury trials involving complex forensic DUI science issues.

Ms. Jensen received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Santa Cruz and went on to attend Santa Clara University School of Law. She gained practical experience during school by helping clients at local public defender’s offices. After law school, Ms. Jensen began by practicing criminal defense and got extremely positive results for clients, particularly in DUI cases and record-clearing requests. Ms. Jensen was accepted to the Alameda County Court Appointed Attorney’s Program where, for two years, she represented low-income clients who could not have a public defender appointed to their case.

Prior to joining the Aizman Law Firm, Ms. Jensen worked as a prosecutor for the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office. Her first year, she received a distinction for completing the most jury trials of any attorney in the office. While working at the DA’s office, Ms. Jensen received POST credits, and even gave her own DUI seminar to police officers during a Department of Justice correlation study. Ms. Jensen was also specially assigned to teach local elementary school students a youth education program known as “Project LEAD” as well as volunteering her time outside of work to coach mock trial for Calexico High School.

With her years of quality experience, Ms. Jensen can immediately see the weaknesses in the state’s case and work strategically to get the best outcome possible. She is prepared to fight vigorously for the rights of clients who have been accused of crimes.
